The second Public Consultation for the Galway to Athlone Cycleway will commence in late January 2021 and run for 5 weeks. The proposed Route Corridor Options will be on display. The purpose of this consultation is to examine and receive feedback on the options developed, and to help identify a Preferred Route Corridor.

Due to government restrictions on public gatherings, there will be no public meetings.  The consultation material, including maps and feedback forms will be available online in our  virtual consultation room.

Interested parties will also be able to meet with the project team by arrangement to discuss any issues of interest to them, either by phone or by video.

From February, subject to the current COVID-19 restrictions, Project Liaison Officers will be available to meet, individually or in small groups, with interested parties including landowners and other members of the public to discuss their issues of interest. These meetings can be arranged from January through the project office.

Further details of the consultation will be made available in early January.
